Our Security Architecture
The architecture of smart-formatter is designed with "Privacy by Design" principles. By leveraging modern browser APIs, we've eliminated the need for server-side processing for 95% of our utility suite. This fundamentally reduces the attack surface and ensures that even in the event of a breach, your processed data remains safe on your own device.
Encryption & Transport
All traffic between your browser and our platform is encrypted using industry-standard TLS 1.3. We enforce HTTP Strict Transport Security (HSTS) to ensure your connection is never downgraded to an insecure protocol.
Responsible Disclosure
We welcome the help of the security community. If you discover a vulnerability in our platform, please report it to us immediately. We commit to acknowledging all reports within 48 hours and working toward a swift resolution.
Independent Audits
We regularly perform internal security reviews of our dependencies and code structure. As we grow, we plan to engage with third-party security firms to conduct formal audits of our core processing engines.
